Rick Hatswell will be competing in the 2009 Shamrock Rally of Morocco October 24-30, 2009 in preparation for the 2010 Dakar rally. His race number is #15
The Shamrock is a 6 day 2,600KM race that is the final points race in the 2009 FIM season. Top motorcycle competitors such as 2009 Dakar winner Marc Coma will be racing alongside Rick as he learns the hard knocks of off road racing. This will be Ricks first major event and should be a challenge that he will conquer with patience and determination. The training he has received throughout the year with Team Rally Pan AM and the support of UK team Desert Rose should prove to be the factors that will get him through successfully.
